My QuickBooks it’s not working properly on my iPad.

Hello my iPad is not working properly same like my iPhone. After I create an invoice,It is not possible anymore to go back for to create another invoice, just if I turn off or I remove the app from the background and start again with a new invoice. I reseted my iPad and I restarted the Quick Books app and refresh. But nothing has changed. I will appreciate for any help. Thank you so much.

I'll share some information about creating invoices. You'll want to open a browser and log in to your QuickBooks account, so you'll be able to create invoices.

 

Here are the lists of supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome.
  • Mozilla Firefox. Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you'll also need the Firefox PDF plugin.
  • Microsoft Edge.
  • Safari 11 or newer (Mac only)

Once logged in, go to +New and then select Invoice.

My QuickBooks it’s not working properly on my iPad.

The new estimate and invoice is missing several features that made the old estimate and invoice useful.

1.  Once an estimate is sent it can not be resent to either the same or a different email address

2.  Sales tax is no longer added to the estimate items

3.  There is no signature line on the estimate

If these shortcomings are not fixed we will need to go back to paper estimates.

My QuickBooks it’s not working properly on my iPad.

We have introduced a fresh estimate and invoice design, rick. The look and feel of sending the sales forms will be different, but the same ease of use and effectiveness will remain.

 

Please know that some options aren’t available yet, this includes the sales tax calculation, classes, tags, and e-signature. We’re actively working to build them for the new experience. 

 

Regarding the ability to resend the transactions, we've updated it to Send reminder. You'll have to recreate them if you need to change the recipient.

I want to ensure that you have the tools necessary to run your business smoothly. To regain access to the functionalities you relied on before, let's log in to your company using a mobile browser. Then, switch back to the previous layout. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Choose Invoice or Estimate.
  3. Select Old layout.
