New Iowa W-4

Thanks for getting involved with this thread, meckley454.
 

I've reviewed our ongoing/solved investigations and can confirm there's currently no investigation about subscribers reporting that their Iowa W-4's Allowances and Total Allowance Amount fields aren't working correctly.


If you've already confirmed you're up-to-date with your Payroll product's latest release, but fields on Iowa W-4 forms continue not functioning properly, I'd initially recommend troubleshooting with the Verify Data utility, to see is your Rebuild Data tool needs to be used. You can also troubleshoot with the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
 

In the event you've performed all of the troubleshooting processes mentioned in this thread, but the problem continues, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
 

They can be reached while you're using QuickBooks.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. In your top menu bar, go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.


     
  2. Click Contact Us.


     
  3. Enter a brief description of the issue in our Ask a question (or tell us what's wrong) field.


     
  4. Hit Continue.


     
  5. Select We’ll contact you for callbacks or Message Us to start an instant messaging session.

 

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
