It's nice to see you here, Tonya. I'll be happy to help you show the time off balances when viewing pay stubs in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
First, ensure you've set up time-off policies for your employees. To do that:
- Go to Payroll, then Employees.
- Select the employee
- From Pay types, select Start or Edit.
- Scroll down to the Time Off Policies section. From the Sick Pay dropdown, select Add new [time off pay] policy.
- Complete the on-screen fields to create your policy, then select Save.
- Enter the Current balance.
- When finished, select Save.
Once done, run payroll and enter the hours under the Sick pay column. Then, follow the Step 2 in this reference to view the pay stub: Print or reprint paychecks and pay stubs.
In addition, I'll provide an article with a set of payroll reports you can run to view information about employees' earnings, taxes, and deductions: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
Let me know whenever you have further queries about pay stubs. I'll be more than glad to help. Stay safe, and have a great rest of the day.
