Join nowI have a payroll scheduled to pay on 11/5. Quickbooks Payroll said it would withdraw the payroll amount on 11/3. The checking account it was to pull from didn't have the amount in it yet, but I had a scheduled transfer of the appropriate amount of funds from a savings account to that checking account on 11/3. On the morning of 11/3 (a Saturday), I noticed that QBO did not pull the payroll funds, but nor did my scheduled transfer from Savings to Checking occur.
I'm worried that QBO tried to pull the funds but the funds weren't there, so an overdraft blocked the QBO payroll pull, which may lead to a delayed payroll tomorrow (Monday, 11/5). Unfortunately, QB Payroll support is closed on the weekends which is why I'm posting to the community.
How can I confirm that QBO will try to pull the payment tomorrow (11/5) and make sure that payroll will still be paid to all employees on 11/5 as scheduled? If it was an overdraft, does QBO Payroll have the capability to run all transactions to all employees on 11/5 to avoid a delay?

Now that there are available funds in the checking account, we'll have to make sure that the direct deposit money is taken out. To confirm if the payment has been deducted, it's best to contact our Payroll Support Team. They can securely access your account and check the status of the direct deposit that you sent last week.

Thank you. I was excited this morning to see that there was an 11/5 posting showing the payroll deduction, and also payment (in my personal account) of payroll, confirming it was able to both pull and push today to meet the payroll deadline. Thanks QBO!
