Join nowDoes anyone know how to link a Payroll Item that is categorized as an Addition to a class? I am able to link items that are categorized as Hourly Wage to a class but not an Addition.
Further, if it is not possible to link and Addition to a class can I set up an Hourly Wage that doesn't require a time entry? This is for a fixed amount payroll item that is not associated with a time entry.
Thank you, Felicia

You can do so indirectly by editing the Addition item and checking the option to class and Job class it. When you do that, the class or classes used for the earnings items will be used on the Addition item.
Bonus and Commission type earnings items will appear in the earnings table and don't require hours, but their use is only appropriate if the money you're adding to the paycheck represents compensation - like the Hourly and Salary items.

I see that option now. Since it starts with Job costing I looked over it. I'll see if that does the trick. The items are considered compensation jut now based on hours.
Thank you!
