Pricing issues with Enterprise Gold - BEWARE

Just to warn any others that might go down this path... I was contacted in November with this money saving offer to upgrade from Premier to Enterprise Gold and eliminate the per employee direct deposit fees.  I have NEVER had such a nightmare.  They forgot to cancel my annual payroll subscription in place (needs to happen) so they have continued to bill me those fees (along with the new higher Gold subscription fee).  I have spend endless hours on the phone (and listening to the hold music) only to find out that 95% of the staff aren't educated on the pricing for the product.  Never have I called in and not had to work with at least 5 different agents and spent at least 2 hours each time.   I've been promised actions by 3 agents that never happened.

Their website actually does say that the direct deposit fees are included in the subscription but again, staff doesn't know that.  Along with that one thing they don't advertise and most agents aren't aware of, if you want to get off the Enterprise edition and go "backwards" to Pro, Premier, etc. your company files will not open in those products.  There are products out there that apparently can be used to convert the data ($$) and there is a team at Intuit that does this work.  Getting them and getting the work scheduled is another issue.  I'm told it takes days for the conversion and many of us can't go days without of data.  Regardless, I've used these products for over 15 years and have been pleased.  This on the other hand has been a major waste of time. I'll also mention after the W-2 load issues they had last year, you would think that problem would be working.  I had several "random" employees who couldn't get to their W-2's where others were fine.  All sent in the same load.

Pricing issues with Enterprise Gold - BEWARE

We appreciate the time you took in sharing your feedback about the payroll pricing , @gtuck.

I would have felt the same if I have to contact phone support multiple times about pricing concerns and data conversion issue. We'd like to look into it and review the call recordings so we can forward your feedback to the Customer Service Team.

We'll take this opportunity to re asses and calibrate our phone support agents to better customers in a timely and efficient manner in the future.

With regards to the W2 loading issues in Workforce, I can see that our engineers are already working to resolve it. I'll revisit this thread and tag you if there any updates from them as soon as possible.

If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know. I'll be around to help you.

Pricing issues with Enterprise Gold - BEWARE

Hi GTuck,

I'm wondering if you have received any assistance or ironed out this issue since you posted in Jan 2020?

I'm currently reveiwing why our company is paying such a high monthly price (including QB Enterprise Gold Edition plus Enhanced Payroll for QB Enterprise.

If you have resolved, please post how so others might benefit from your issue. I don't look forward to the many calls I'm going to have to make to get this resolved for us.

Thank you!

You may self convert your data file by using a 3rd party migration tool. Should you need to resolve it in < 24 hours, consider purchasing a 3rd party downgrade service. It costs $299-$499
