I'm glad you visited the Community, @manager2024. I can guide you through some troubleshooting steps to make sure your checks print correctly in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
First, let's go over your print setup to ensure the font size is configured correctly. Here's how:
- Go to File and select Printer Setup.
- In the Form Name dropdown, click Check/Paycheck.
- Go to the Fonts tab and select Font.
- Adjust the Size to your preference.
- Click OK, then OK.
If the font size isn't the issue, I recommend using the QuickBooks Print & Print Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Before doing so, close your QBDT and download the latest version of the tool hub. Then, follow these steps to run the repair tool:
- In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
- Click QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. It will take about a minute to run.
- Once done, print the checks from QBDT again.
Here's an article for further information: Fix PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.
Additionally, you can save time by setting up an automatic recurring check in QBDT if you need to pay a vendor regularly.
Fill me in if you need further assistance printing checks, and I'll be glad to provide additional help. Stay safe, and have a great rest of the day.
