QBO Workforce for Contractors

I currently run Contractor direct deposit payments out of QBO payroll.

For each week I pay contractors for various jobs that are costed / itemized when the payment is made.

How do I invite them to Workforce so they can see the details of their payments and see what jobs they got paid for and how much? Currently they only see the lump sum on their bank details with no additional info.

Thank you,

QBO Workforce for Contractors

Let's add your contractor to your workforce and email them to complete their profile moving forward, Numismatic.

To add a contractor, go to the Payroll section and select the Contractors option. Click on Add a Contractor and fill in their name and email address in the designated fields. Then, click on Add Contractor, and we'll immediately send them an email. Their profile will be saved in both the Contractors.

Your contractor will get an email with a link to set up QuickBooks Workforce. Once they've set it up, they can add their information, opt out of receiving a mailed copy of their W-2 (if you chose that option), and view their pay stubs and W-2s online.

Furthermore, please check out our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted team if you need further help inviting contractors to Workforce and ensuring they can see the details of their payments. They can help you set up Workforce so that contractors can view their paid jobs and the amounts.

I've also included some articles that help you with different ways to pay contractors:

With this info your contractors will be able to fill out their paperwork online. If you have more inquiries regarding managing contractors in QBO. I am always here to assist you.
