Did you find an alternative software?  I've been trying to get payroll working for DAYS and nothing works. 

Tech support has not helped at all.  This will unfortunately destroy our firm, so we need to switch to something else as soon as possible.  We stand to lose half of our revenue because payroll is no longer a feature of "payroll" in Quickbooks.

Unfortunately, we did not.  We hung on & updated & updated & updated while QB worked thru the kinks.  We have learned that we must do every single update even if the payroll update reference numbers do not change.  We are still not pleased nor confident in QB.  We looked at fully-integrated software...VERY expensive.  I learned to use the CALL BACK feature within QB to get a payroll expert.  I've had the best service from QB support employees that are located in the Philippines.  In fact, I've learned to call around mid-day US central time.  I know this doesn't help you right this minute, but, unfortunately, that is all I have to offer you.  Today's QB issue is re: Alabama OT exemption & the fact that it is NOT working in QB.  I am convinced that they do not use their own software.

I am having the same problem with Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022 with respect to not being able to do payroll.  I have tried to download the new version of Enterprise, but it will not download.  We need to do payroll and cannot get it to work!
