I don't know if I am on the right board/topic but I always hear that the quickbooks community is smarter than the quickbooks team and I have been going back and forth with quickbooks ever since I signed up with Quickbooks Online. So after talking to a million people, getting transferred back and forth several times, even reversing the correct migration I did (thank God I saved a copy) I decided to ask the community since I am getting no where with customer service online and desktop. FYI- they literally read the same instructions you can find online, they aren't experts. I am not saying this is their fault, maybe they are all new. Who knows. but I really need some help here.
This is what happened:
-I transferred from Quickbooks desktop 2019 to Quickbooks Online advanced in October 2021. I also have payroll enhanced on my 2019 desktop QB but the customer sales rep said I would have to buy another payroll for the online QB and cancel my enhanced on the 2019 version in order to use it on Quickbooks online. So I never used it on the online version I just kept using it on the 2019 desktop because that didn't make any sense.
-At the end of december I figured out how to migrate quickbooks online back to my 2019 desktop with the help of videos on youtube. The instructions said to create a new file and this would be the one that would be uploaded back in 2019 desktop. So this is what I did and it worked.
-Yesterday I bought the Quickbooks desktop pro plus subscription and uploaded that new file I created and everything looked good but my company info, EIN and payroll was missing. So I called QB payroll customer service rep again and he walked me through it and had me upload my old file from my QB desktop 2019 since my payroll was up to date on this. I told him my old file is not up to date with my invoices though and he said it was fine and to just do it, so I did it because I thought he had a simple fix. But he did not. So now my old file with the up to date payroll is uploaded into desktop pro plus but my invoices stop at October because this is when I started quickbooks online. And he told he will now transfer me over to the online department. So I just hung up because the online will either walk me through the instructions online to migrate again or send me the instructions.
Does anyone know what I should do at this point? I am sick of going in circles.
Thank you in advance! :)

The problem is only about your Invoice data not updated on your file in QBD 2022, correct?
Good day, amandawp.
I appreciate the detailed information you provided about your migration issues.
I've got two options on how you can bring into QuickBooks Desktop Pro your missing invoices.
You may enter them manually into the system. Or look for a third-party application to import missing invoices.
Also, I'm adding this article about the limitations when converting QBDT to QBO: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

Yes. Thank you.
Yes.
Thank you for reading.
Thanks for reading but manually entering a thousand invoices is not what I wanted to do, there has to be a better solution.
Thanks.
You can utilize a migration tool to help. i.e TPExporter for Online, TPImporter for Desktop.

Thank you for the advice, I will look into it.
