Quickbooks Time/Tsheets options have disappeared

The options for Billable and class have dissappeared from tsheets! There is no way to bill back employee time now. It was already a disaster compared to the desktop version. Now that Intuit has taken it over nothing works. I now have a bunch of employee hours that can't be billed or tracked. Everything is messed up. I could edit every Tsheets imported entry in QB but it is a massive job.

Quickbooks Time/Tsheets options have disappeared

Hello @HaveBlue.

Thanks for checking in with the Community for help with your billable time and class options. I’m sorry to hear that the feature settings are not working. I’d like to help you get this squared away.

Would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of what you see?

Let’s check the settings in QuickBooks to make sure they are still set up correctly. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
  2. Select Advanced.
  3. In the Time tracking section, select Edit.
  4. Set your time tracking preferences:
    • Add Service field to timesheets or Make Single-Time Activity Billable to Customer - When one of these boxes is checked, employees and contractors who fill out timesheets can specify if activities should be billed to a customer.
    • Show billing rate to users entering time (optional)
    • First day of work week▼drop-down - This affects how employees and contractors view weekly timesheets.
  5. Select Save, then Done.

For additional details, check out this article: How to turn on and set time tracking.

Please let me know if this setting is on and you’re still not able to see billable time options.

I definitely understand how time-consuming editing every timesheet is. I want to make sure we can get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.

I’ll keep an eye out for the screenshots and your response. Thanks for hanging in there while we work together to get this squared away.
