Let me assist you and make everything clear about running a payroll.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), you have to use other plans to run our payroll services as we're unable to set up payroll using a QBSE subscription. There are a lot of QuickBooks Online plans you can check out that can suit your business needs.
If you wish to upgrade your subscriptions, you can convert from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online. Please note that the conversion process is irreversible.
To run payroll after the conversion, I'd be glad to show you how:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- On the left navigational panel, look for Payroll.
- Then select Employees.
- Click Get Started and choose the payroll service of your choice.
Once done, you can now start with our QuickBooks Online Payroll services.
