How do I inform QB Payroll online to file final quarterly reports for a discontinued business not paying payroll in the future?

Final Quarterly Reports

Let's get this sorted out so you can file your tax form with the correct details, newriverllc.

 

There's a section quarterly Form 941 where you can indicate that it's the final return. Can you tell us what type of payroll subscription you have?

 

If you're using the do-it-yourself type of payroll subscription, you can go to Line 17 (Part 3) of the form. Then, check the box and enter the final date when the last wages were paid.
