Help! Why, on earth, when you send an ESTIMATE to someone the link on the email says "review and pay?" Not "review and approve?" People get confused and I lose work!

I end up sending screenshots of the estimate page so they don't think I am trying to get them to pay for a total job all at once.  A real drag, ya know

Help! Why, on earth, when you send an ESTIMATE to someone the link on the email says "review and pay?" Not "review and approve?" People get confused and I lose work!

I'm here to help you with your estimate concern, @dylandenicke.

To provide more precise assistance, could you confirm whether you're currently using a customized template or a modern template for the estimate?

You can check it on the estimate's page by going to Manage and selecting Design.

If you're utilizing a customized template, I suggest switching to the modern template and sending a trial estimate to your email address to verify if it displays as Review and approve. If the modern template reflects the desired message, kindly use it for now.

If Review and pay persist even after transitioning to the modern view, I recommend contacting our support team to be added to the list of affected users. Currently, there's an ongoing investigation into this and our team is actively working to fix it.

Additionally, you can refer to this article to personalize your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please let us know if you have other concerns with your estimates. We're here to lend a hand.
