How do I add il tax id #

It’s nice to see you in the Community, tracymerrill38.


For your IL tax ID, let’s go to the Payroll Settings to add the information. With just a few clicks you can perform this task in QuickBooks.

 

  1. Tap the Gear icon at the top to select Payroll Settings under Your Company.
  2. Navigate to the Taxes section and click the link for State Taxes-IL.          
  3. Go to the IL Withholding Setup section for the Withholding Account Number.
  4. If this is for your unemployment state, enter it in the IL Account Number box under IL State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) Setup.
  5. Click OK to keep the changes.
