How do i track/log miles for out of state business?

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Community page, @goozer1111.

 

You can add the trip manually and just input the starting address as well as its endpoint under the Location column. Here are the detailed steps:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, then click on Miles at the left pane.A8 1.PNG
  2. On the Miles window, tap on Add trip at the upper-right corner.A8 2.PNG
  3. Enter the trip date under the Date column, the address of the trips under Location, the distance, and the other information needed.A8 3.PNG
  4. Save the transaction.
