Quickbooks enterprise DESKTOP cannot reset vacation and sick for 2021

Hi I have a couple of things going on:

1. I cannot reset vacation and sick for 2021 ( still shows 2020 in the settings) this is DESKTOP ENTERPRISE. I have recently updated QB and payroll and restarted QB.

2. I purchased 2020 QB Enterprise last April but is shows 2019 as latest version

3. Under Pay employees, recent payrolls, I am seeing 3 orange flags saying that payroll needs to be printed. But I use Direct Deposit do not print and all of the payrolls that are flagged I have previously paid via direct deposit, one which I ran this morning.

RE: 1. I cannot reset vacation and sick for 2021 ( still shows 2020 in the settings) this is DESKTOP ENTERPRISE. I have recently updated QB and payroll and restarted QB.

For an employee with payroll history, the date shown is the last paycheck date. Read the label like, "As of the last pay date, this was the balance."  It's quite confusing and really would probably be better if the form just read "Current Balance", as that is all it ever displays.

If you have the option to Reset enabled, then the balance will automatically reset when you pay the employee for a pay period that crosses over the "Year begins on..." day of the year.

If you mean the tax table update version, then that might be right, as the last update was Dec 17, 2019.  The next one should be on Thursday 1/7.

Whether or not you use DD, checks can still be marked to Print. And if they are, then you'll see this flag.  Edit each check and remove the Print Later check mark at the top of the checks and then the flag will go away.  When creating your next payroll, be sure the Print Later option isn't enabled.
