Why am I unable to run payroll?

My account indicates that I am unable to withdraw funds for payroll. I have updated my payment information for billing and subscriptions, but still can't process payroll.

We received similar reports from other users experiencing the same behavior when viewing running payroll. Our engineers are at the top of this while conducting further investigation on the issue.


We're requesting all affected users to contact our Payroll Support Team. They can add your personal information in a secure space. Reaching out to them ensures you can sign up to the notification list to receive email updates.


Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon at the top to display the QB Assistant window.
  2. Then, hit the Talk to a human menu and enter the issue/topic. For example, payroll issues.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
  4. From the option, choose Message an agent for real-time assistance or Get a callback.
  5. Provide this number to expedite the process: INV-50485.

Our Payroll Account still has a hold on it.  All issues have been corrected.  This situation needs immediate attention, as we have employees on direct deposit.

Thanks for dropping by today, because you mentioned there's a hold on your payroll account, you'll definitely want to reach out to our support team as they will be able to look through your account to determine the cause and what action you need to take to fix this. To reach them, you can follow these few steps:

  1. Go to the (?) Help icon.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief discussion of your concern and click Let’s talk.
  4. Then choose to Get a callCheck availability (for scheduled callback) or Start a chat (if you preferred chat).
