Will the "submit payroll" button give me a "completed message"?

Yes, you should see this message once you have clicked the Submit payroll button.

If you're unable to see this message, you can review the Paycheck list to see if the payroll has been submitted. You can also pull up a Payroll Details report to review if you have submitted a payroll. Just click the Search icon on the top right and enter Payroll Detail.

Here's how to view the Paycheck list:

1. Go to the Workers/Payroll menu and then select Employees.
2. Click the Paycheck list hyperlink.
3. Review the paychecks that you've created.

From there, you can adjust the date range and click Run report to see specific paychecks.

However, if you're unable to view the paychecks that you've created, I'd recommend clearing cache and cookies to fix issues when using QBO. Once done, you can sign in to QuickBooks Online again to view the Paycheck list.
