What report do you use for supplying employees with payroll information for two months at a time? My employees often request reprints of their checkstubs, but sometimes for 4-6 pay periods. I would prefer to print a single report for the period requested. What do you use?
Hi JoaniePLC.
Thanks for dropping by the Community. I'm happy to point you in the right direction and which report you can run. My recommendation would be a Payroll Summary report in which you can customize the date range to include 4-6 pay periods you mentioned above. To run that report follow these steps:

Thank you for your response. I have used that report but some of the agencies requiring the information from the employee wants addition information, i.e. check number and date it was written. I have found a report when I summarize the info in Excel but was wondering if there was a report built into QB without going thru Excel.
Hey, JoaniePLC.
Thanks for the clarification. The best way to includ info in the reports such as check number and date issued would be to export the report into Excel like you're doing. I appreciate your feedback and agree that it would be beneficial to have that info added to the reports directly within product. I'm going to bring this up to our product development team to see about getting this added to future updates. You can check out our Blog spot to see future updates take place.
Thank you for your time and have a lovely afternoon.
There really isn't a report in QuickBooks that will replace a pay stub. The best thing to do is to print pay stubs for the employee.
You can easily print a range of pay stubs for an employee. Here's how:
1) Start at File | Print Forms | Pay Stubs...
2) Enter the desired pay date range and pick the employee.
3) Click Print to print all the pay stubs.
If you're set up for it, you can also email the pay stubs to the employee as PDF files.
