Manually resetting your employee's time used in QuickBooks Online isn't currently possible, Kris P1.
Editing this in QBO is unavailable since it depends on the corresponding paycheck you've processed. If you want to change it, you'll have to directly adjust the information on the paycheck itself so that it will be updated in the time used.
It is important to note that QBO will reset the Paid Time Off (PTO) used after all of it has been used up but if you still have a balance, you'll have to manually modify it.
In the meantime, you can manually change it in the Current balance in the Paycheck method. Let me walk you through how to do it.
- Go to Payroll, then select Employees.
- Click the employee's profile.
- Under Profile, go to Pay types and click Edit.
- In the Time off pay policies dropdown, edit their paid time off in the Current Balance field.
- Hit Save.
