Salaried Employee Costs Not Allocating to Customer Accounts as of August 2024

In the attached report is a list of payroll expenses associated with one of my customer accounts.

You will see that my hourly employee costs are recorded throughout the year.

You will see ( bottom of page 3) that my salary employee costs stop recording after August 2nd, 2024.

Something broke with QBO and Payroll after August 2nd, such that salaried employees payroll is no longer broken out by client account according to the proportion of hours they booked to each client account. Before that date, it worked perfectly, even accounting for payroll taxes!

Please Intuit and Quickbooks Online and Payroll teams...

AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT, PROVIDE ME A CREDIT FOR A FREE YEAR SINCE YOUR BASIC FUNCTION STOPPED WORKING AND HAS NOT BEEN WORKING NOW FOR 5 MONTHS!!!!

Salaried Employee Costs Not Allocating to Customer Accounts as of August 2024

Accurate cost accounting is fundamental, @endertek. I hear you, and it is indeed concerning that salaried employees' payroll expenses aren't correctly allocated to customer accounts that were working five months ago in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I've read your previous post about this and understand you contacted our Live Payroll Support team. Since they can best provide updates on its progress, let me share the steps in scheduling a callback.

To stay updated on the investigation mentioned in your post on another thread, follow these steps:

  1. In your QBO account, click on Help (?).
  2. Select the Search tab.
  3. Hit the Contact Us button.
  4. Choose Have us call you.

Once it's resolved, check out this article to prepare your business for the coming year: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online.

I appreciate you for your patience and for informing us about the significant issue regarding salaried employees no longer being tracked against client accounts in QBO. If you have any details to clarify or additional questions in the meantime, please feel free to click the Reply button. We are committed to providing ongoing support.

Salaried Employee Costs Not Allocating to Customer Accounts as of August 2024

I contacted Live Payroll Support on November 20th, and STILL NO ACTION!!!

Surely you understand it is a huge waste of my time to be following up with QBO support... YOU SHOULD BE FOLLOWING UP WITH ME!

Also, it is quite unacceptable that this CORE FUNCTION IS NOT WORKING FOR OVER 5 MONTHS NOW!
