Sending Payroll to Intuit

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here in the Community forum, @LoriRMI. I'm thrilled that you've chosen to seek assistance from our team in creating bonus checks in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. Your dedication to providing your employees with paper bonus checks is commendable, and I'm here to help ensure a smooth process for you.

If you have already completed the process of printing the bonus checks for your valued employees, there is no need for you to go through the additional step of sending the payroll information to Intuit since it's applicable to Direct Deposits only and not applicable to any other form of payment. Therefore, you can rest assured that you have efficiently handled the task at hand and can proceed with confidence knowing that the necessary steps have been taken to compensate your employees appropriately.

I've included an article for further guidance in paying an employee bonus using QuickBooks Payroll: Pay an employee bonus.

In addition to the information provided earlier, I have taken the liberty of including a couple of articles that offer valuable insights and guidance on effectively managing and tracking overtime pay and fringe benefits for your employees. These resources prove to be instrumental in ensuring that you have a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved and can implement them seamlessly within your organization:

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to post your question here. It's customers like you who make our Community forum a valuable resource for everyone. If you have any further inquiries or need assistance with any other aspect of QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, please don't hesitate to ask. We're always here to lend a helping hand. Wishing you continued success in your payroll endeavors.
