Thanks for reaching out to us. Allow me to address your concern, so let me get this straightened out. 

 

A supported version of QuickBooks and active payroll subscription are part of the requirements when signing up Direct Deposit. Once you're using a different service provider, there's isn't an option to activate it.

Make a Bank account and name it Payroll Clearing.

 

Generate the Paychecks out of this account.

 

Use your Provider's website to load the paycheck takehome amounts.

 

In the real Checking account in QB, make One Check entry; the Expenses entry is the Clearing Bank.

 

Now Clearing Bank is 0 for this paydate.
