Sick pay

In Quickbooks desktop Enterprise....Can you set up the sick pay accrual carryover so that the carryover hours are included in the accrual for the next year?

Yes, just don't check the reset checkbox and then the new hours will be added to the balance.

Then won't that eliminate the option of capping the carryover hours? And will it not allow the accrual to restart at the beginning of the year?

Yes, when there is no reset there can be no cap. That's what you appear to ask for when you wrote, "Can you set up the sick pay accrual carryover so that the carryover hours are included in the accrual for the next year?"

If all of the carryover hours are included in the accrual for next year, then you don't need a cap.

RE: And will it not allow the accrual to restart at the beginning of the year?

The accrual can be set to once at the beginning of the year regardless of the reset option.
