Can you share with me the link that you've used to add sub-contractors in QuickBooks Online? This will help me review their steps and assist you more effectively.
For now, the option to add sub-contractors is unavailable in the program. However, you can still add them as regular contractors in QuickBooks and differentiate them by adding the words "(sub-contractor)" to their display name. Here's how you can do it:
- Go to Expenses and select Contractors.
- Click Add a contractor
- Enter your contractor’s info, or select the Email this contractor checkbox so they can fill it out.
- When you're done, click Add contractor.
If you didn’t choose to send an email:
- Select Add next to Personal details or Bank account and enter the contractor info.
- Add the word (sub-contractor) in their Display name.
- When finished, select Save.
