I am using Quickbooks Desktop for Payroll. So I am creating my payroll on my desktop. I do not have a pin number to send payroll items.

I'd like to join in on this issue. I my self am having the update issue. Mine says to make sure I update by 11/8 which I have 10 times and yesterday was 11/13. Only 1 of my employees had theirs fiqured out properly. I called tech support and spent 3 hours trying to fix it, nope! I have been using QBW since it was Born!!! I have had issues with payroll since I downloaded the 2023 version last year and can't get it fixed. This was and is the icing on the Cake! I NEED TO PAY MY EMPLOYEES'. HELP!!!!! I did try to do your suggestions and I can't get passed sending data because now I can't be verified!!!!

If you're saying you can't be verified to send payroll data to Intuit because you need a PIN, this would be the same PIN you create when connecting your bank account. This process is covered in the Step 2 section of our Set up your company payroll for direct deposit article, if you still need to create one.
In the event you've already created a PIN, but have lost or forgotten it, it can be reset by clicking Forgot your PIN? on the Payroll Service PIN window when sending payroll data.
