There is no delete button when I select a paycheck, I need to delete some of the paychecks

Hello there, @ramberg88llc.

The Void tab should be showing beside the Print tab option. Let's isolate the problem first using a private window to check if it's browser-related.

Depending on your browser, here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

If you still can't view the Void option using incognito, I'd recommend using another updated browser. If it works, you may go back to your regular browser and clear your cache.

However, if the issue persists, you'll need to reach out to our Online Team to further isolate this using their tools. They can open your account in a secure environment and verify the root cause of this problem.

I did every single steps, clearing the browser cache, use incognito google chrome, even updated to latest version, then updated my internet explorer and used a private window and also installed the latest version of Firefox, this is seriously too mush.

I also did reach out to your online chat to address the issue, but they said to write a post about it!
This is ridicules. What is the support phone number, so I can actually speak to someone and get this fixed. Now, there's a tax payment hitting my account for the wrong payroll!!!!

Guys this is urgent. It's a business not a joke.

Thank you for the response, @ramberg88llc.

There's a great chance that you have adjustment checks that hinder you from getting the Void option on your Paycheck list page. Let's verify this at the bottom of the page and get your paychecks voided.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Workers menu in the left navigation.
  2. Click the Employees tab.
  3. Hit Paycheck list link at the upper right hand under Run Payroll.
  4. On the Paycheck list page at the bottom part, there’s a link for adjustment paychecks.
  5. If there's an adjustment paycheck, you need to contact our payroll support to remove it so that you can go through on voiding the check.

To contact our customer support team, here’s how:

  1. Click the Help (?) icon in the upper right of the screen in your QuickBooks account.
  2. Tap Contact Us.
  3. Type your concern in the What can we help with? field and select Let’s talk.
  4. Click Get a callback and enter your contact information.
  5. Select Call me.

On the other hand, if there’s no adjustment paychecks located you need to delete the most recent one before voiding the intended check.

For future reference, you can visit this article here on modifying unapproved paychecks: Change an employee paycheck.

Let me know how it goes, @ramberg88llc. Please click the Reply button below if there's anything else I can do for you, I'm always here to help.

Here's what I see, I only see the print bottom on top, and tax adjustments on the bottom.

Thanks for keeping me updated about this, @ramberg88llc.

When voiding a paycheck in QuickBooks Online, it needs to be done individually. Selecting multiple paychecks is the reason why the Void button is no longer available.

Here are some screenshots that show what will happen if you select one transaction only as well as with multiple:

If doing this doesn't make a difference, I recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care Team. They have advanced tools like the remote-viewing session that can help check on what's causing the issue.

To do that:

  1. Click on Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Hit on the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter a brief description of the issue in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Press on Let's talk.
  5. Select on Get a callback.
  6. Key in your contact details.
  7. Then tap on Confirm my call.

Appreciate the screenshots, but it makes no different.

I did click on call me support yesterday, they said I need to email the issue to the support department, they can't do anything at their end, since I'm using the QuickBooks online payroll Core and it's fairly new and they don't have tools to assist me. I was shocked when I heard that. What do I do now?? This is really frustrating, I hope you understand this. I've wasted so much time on this already!
