The QuickBooks (QB) Time which is now Workforce and Online Payroll integration is working well and you can seamlessly use it to track your project costs. I'll share more details below.
When tracking the cost of your project, you can go to the Project tab in QB Workforce and select the right one. You can see here the status and the current hours your employee worked for this particular project. 
Once there's overtime on the project's overall duration, it will show here. You can show it By Estimates or By Users.
