Time Tracking

We have the essential plan & I have always had the option to add time.  We just added the Payroll function & now I don't see the option to add time any longer.  Why did the time tracking disappear?  What can I do to fix this?

Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community! Here is a quick fix to do this!

 

  1. Go to the Account and Settings 
  2. Select Billing & Subscription
  3.  Under QBTime, choose “Learn more.”
  4. Select subscribe button.
  5. Click the Payroll Tab and click Overview. 
  6.  Select Time launch.

 

By doing these steps, you shouldn't have any problems! Let me know if you experience any issues, though. Take care for now!

Time Tracking

This didn’t work.  After selecting billing k subscription, I don’t have an option for QB time.  So how would I go about fixing

Thanks for visiting us again about the problem accessing the time feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @rlaramie.

 

I've checked and found no investigation related to this issue. Before we report this issue to our engineers, I need to check if you did some initial troubleshooting to fix the problem. Have you tried opening your account and using time tracking in a private web browser?

 

Unexpected issues in QuickBooks are sometimes associated with the amount of data stored in the cache. A regular browser will constantly overwrite itself and will not remove history unless done manually.

 

Private browsing will not save any history, so it's a great place to identify issues in the browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

You may try a different browsers too, and see if the problem persists there. If you can use the feature in QuickBooks without any issues using the workarounds, clear the cache to start with a clean slate.
