I am having the same issue and even contacted a CSR who was unable to help me after over an hour on the phone. Shouldn't we be able to change the company name just in our Quickbooks account? I'll be interested to see if you ever had a resolution to this

I can share a way to change your company name and other information in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The error you’ve encountered is usually caused if you have active electronic services in your QuickBooks Online Payroll. synced to your QBO company file. To get around that prompt message and proceed to change your company name, you’ll need to turn off it first before updating in QBO
