Unable to pull Payroll entity Federal fields from QB Desktop XML response

Let's work together to resolve XML errors in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), so you can pull up payroll entity federal fields.

Before that, may I ask for the specific error message you received? This way, we can provide a suitable fix for your concern. You may also include screenshots if necessary.

When you open QBDT, you may see or receive one of the following error messages:

• There is an error in XML document (0, 0)
• Error: Process could not access file C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v(x)\SessionData.xml because it is being used by another process

These are brought on by a damaged SessionData.xml file or a damaged QBDT Entitlement Client folder. 

To troubleshoot, you can remove files within the entitlement folder. To do that:

1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the search box.
2. In the Search field, type Services.msc, then Enter.
3. Right-click Intuit Entitlement Service vX (where X is the highest number of version), then click Stop.
4. Close the window and follow the steps in this article: Display hidden files and folders or search for files using Windows.
5. Ensure to select Show hidden files, folders and drives, then click to clear Hide protected system operating files checkbox.
6. On the left window, go to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\vX, then remove all files within the folder.

If the issue persists, you can also run the repair tool for QBDT for Windows.

Below screenshot fields need to retrieve using XML response as we are using Web Connector to insert employee fields from QB Desktop into our system.

Do we need to enable any feature ?. Please help us.

Note : We have used employee query xml request but Employee entity federal fields are not retrieving in XML response
