Upcoming changes with QuickBooks and SimplyInsured integration

* Conditions to meet in order to manually enter or update health deductions:

- If you have a new employee that starts at your business and enrolls in health coverage
- If there is a change in policy that affects an employee due to a qualified life event, such as a change in marital status or their number of dependents
- If you renew or purchase a new SimplyInsured health policy, or purchase a new policy with another broker that isn’t Allstate Health Solutions
- If you switch your current broker to a new broker that isn’t Allstate Health Solutions

Note: You can always log in to your SimplyInsured account. No changes will be made to your policy, unless you request changes to be made. If you have any specific questions about your existing health plan, please contact SimplyInsured or the carrier.

 

** You can connect your existing plan to Allstate Health Solutions by simply going to the Benefits tab in QuickBooks Online Payroll, selecting "Connect existing plan," and following the prompts to provide the necessary information and sign electronically.

 

After submitting the digital letter, the carrier will assign Allstate Health Solutions as your new broker. This process typically takes approximately less than 15 minutes^ to complete, but carriers may take a few weeks to process the change.

 

Switching brokers will not affect your plan cost or coverage, as you will continue to pay the same premiums and have access to the same benefits as carriers currently support them. Please note that there will be no coverage gaps, and you can initiate the process at any time of the year.
