Vacation hours in every pay check

I'll show you how to set up accruals for our employee, @SriniHN.

With QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, you can set up rules for vacation leave for your employees.

Here's how:

1. Under Edit, choose Preference.
2. Select Payroll & Employees.
3. Under Company Preference, click Sick & Vacation.
4. Enter the necessary details for the accruals you want to give your employees.
5. Click OK.

That should now set up the number of accruals your employee will have.

Here is how I want to give vacation for my employees.

 - Employees are eligible only if they work 80 hours in two weeks.

 - 40 hours of vacation for anyone worked more than a year. If the 1 year completed in May 30th, June 1st on wards he will start accrue as a pro rate for rest of the year.

 - If the employee finished 6yrs then 80 hours.

Is it possible?

1. Go to the Help menu in your company file.
2. Select Send Feedback Online and choose Product Suggestion.
3. Click the Type of Feedback drop-down arrow and select Product Suggestion.
4. You can then add brief information in the box.
5. Enter your name and e-mail address.
6. Then, click the Send Feedback button.
