The message you’re seeing usually appears if the payroll subscription wasn't active during that specific tax year, or could also be due to a missing or invalid Employer Identification Number (EIN) at the time of filing.
In this case, I suggest contacting your employer or payroll admin directly. They’ll be able to let you know if they had to file manually this year, and should be able to provide you with a copy of your W2 since it isn't available through the app.
