We have an employee that termed earlier in the year. In doing our annual insurance audit, we noticed his ER contribution is off for health. How can I correct it?

This doesn't affect the employees pay at all. I just need another $90 to go through payroll as an employer contribution to health to have our Health Insurance account balance properly. We paid his health coverage 100%.

Thanks for visiting us here today, @billing76.

I'll share some information on how you can correct your employee's company contribution. In QuickBooks Online Payroll, creating a correction is unavailable. You'll have to contact our Payroll Support. One of our payroll support agents will perform the adjustment on your behalf.

Here's how to reach out:

  1. Go to Help at the top.
  2. Tap the Search tab.
  3. Scroll down and select Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of the issue, then Continue.
  5. Click either Chat with us or Have us call you.

Additionally, here's a link that'll help you manage your year-end taxes: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for getting back to me. I called this morning, and stayed on the phone for an hour while she was messaging someone else for help. Then sent an email so I could put what I needed done in writing, then the phone got disconnected. Sigh... I'll call back after my next meeting.
