The error you've encountered is likely caused by a browser-related issue, so let's work together to troubleshoot and fix this, adpsunell.
Start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
- Control + Option + P (Safari)
Once signed in, go to the Payroll menu and run your payroll.
If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, log out and then log back into your account. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues.
However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
On the other hand, in case the error persists and since it's been quite some time that you've been unable to run payroll in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Care team. They can securely access your account to identify the cause of this error and apply the necessary solution for you to pay your employees accordingly. Here's how:
- Sign in to your QBO company.
- Go to the Help (?) menu.
- Select the Search tab.
- Click the Contact Us button.
- Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
- Select Continue.
- Choose a way to connect with us (Send a message / Chat or Get a callback / Callback).
After the issue is resolved, you might want to generate, print, and customize payroll reports to review your company's finances, employees, and taxes.. For the complete guide, please see this article: Run payroll reports.
