Workforce access

I have numerous employees under 18.  I've just been informed by 1 that they can not access workforce to view their paystub because the are under 18.  This is the first time I've ever heard this in the years of using QB.  Is this true?

Workforce access

I understand the importance of being able to access QuickBooks Workforce to view their paystubs, tim.

Employment laws and regulations can vary by state, and it's important to ensure compliance with local requirements.

To get accurate information, I recommend reaching out to your local state so they can provide you with the most up-to-date information specific to your location. Also, they can help clarify age restrictions or limitations in accessing employee paystubs.

I've added this article for additional resources. It provides an overview of the tasks you can do using the Workforce feature. Also, it contains answers to common questions: QuickBooks Workforce

If you have any further inquiries regarding providing your employee access to Workforce, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm around to help. Keep safe!

Workforce access

An employee received the following message from "public-consumer-chat."

"... you need to communicate with your employer since they are the one who can make changes or update your information. You can only update your personal information in your Workforce."

I'm not quite sure if this rule is required by state law.  Could you share the reason behind this rule with me? On a personal note, I would rather manage my bank information myself than have an employer do it for me. Thank you so much!

Hello AnneB8.

I acknowledge the challenges your employee is experiencing while attempting to access the pay stub online. I'm here to assist you in resolving this issue effectively.

Before running any troubleshooting steps, I just need some additional information about the issue. May I know the error message or code the employees encountered? Also, can you share which state are you located in?

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I'll be on the lookout for your response, AnneB8. Have a good one.
