I'd be glad to share some insights on how you can start the application process for a Paycheck Protection Program loan.
You can do the application within QuickBooks Capital. The steps are as follows:
- Go to Capital, then on the Federal Relief Funds box, select the Tell me more button, and select Continue.
- Over the next few screens, fill in the following fields with the information you’ve gathered or answer the questions on the page, and select Next.
- On the Tell us about your business page, confirm all the information on the page is correct, and then select Next.
- Enter your Social Security number and Date of Birth in the text fields, and select Next.
- Add your bank routing number and bank account number in the text fields, and select Next.
- Double-check all the information, then select the checkboxes to confirm, and then select Accept and submit.
- Check all the information you’ve included on your application, and select the Confirm button.
- Review all the information from our lender partner, select the checkboxes, then answer the two questions, and select the Confirm and accept button.
- Hit the Review and sign button.
You can also apply through any existing SBA lender or through any federally insured depository institution, federally insured credit union, and Farm Credit System institution that is participating. Other regulated lenders will be available to make these loans once they are approved and enrolled in the program. You should consult with your local lender as to whether it is participating. Visit www.sba.gov for a list of SBA lenders.
