Checks entered through the Memorized Transaction list as "To Print" are not showing up in the Print Checks list. I have to edit the item, delete the To Print, save it and then edit again and re-enter To Print before it is recognized in the Print Check list.

Are you actually entering To Print in the check number field that way I used to that always worked so well for so many years?
If so, that's probably what is causing this. It's been sort of half broken since about QB 2013 when someone messed up the code and then somehow couldn't bring themselves to make it work again. So, try using the little check-mark for print later at the top of the check on the ribbon. That seems to be the only reliable way to toggle the to print status of a check.

Don't work from the Register view; always confirm that Box is checkmarked.
