I am trying to add additional accounts to a chart of accounts list. And the chat is useless. I've been kicked off and misunderstood more than I care to count.
I have it in excel I've saved it in excel form and csv form I've only used the account types that are in my QuickBooks file. Every time I try to import it I get the same error "invalid item type" I have been working on this issue for over a year now. I am using QuickBooks Pro Accountant version 2020 desktop. I could really use some help from someone that actually knows how to fix this. I'm hoping someone in the community is smarter than the people I have spoken with via customer support.
