I hate to hear you need to cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription, but also know that sometimes business needs change. If you no longer need our services, there are just a few steps to cancel your account. Here's how:


1. After signing in as an admin user, click the Gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select Account and Settings.

3. Choose the Billing & Subscription tab.

4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel Trial.

5. Complete the steps to cancel your subscription.

When I sign in it takes me to the payment page thanking me for giving you another chance. And I can go no further! Thing is, I've already paid ! Twice! 7 dollars and the last time was on the phone with you Folks for 4 hours. I was able to get into my account one time on that day and have never been able to since. Please cancel my membership and refund my money. And I don't want to know how to do it

At QuickBooks Community, we value data security in this forum. With this, we're unable to cancel your account and process a refund. This process requires pulling up your account securely. 


If you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), let's use the test drive so you can get in touch with our support team. From there, they can cancel your subscription since you're unable to sign in to your account. Also, you can discuss with them your refund request. Here's how: 

  1. Go to this link:
  2. Select the Help menu at the upper right. 
  3. Enter your specific concern in the Search field. 
  4. Click Contact us
  5. Choose a way to connect with a live agent.
