You'll want to upgrade to QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced to start tracking your inventory. Inventory tracking helps you keep track of your stocked goods.

Once you've upgrade, you can follow these steps below to turn on inventory tracking:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Select Account and Settings.
3. Select Sales.
4. Select Edit in the Products and services section.
5. Turn on Show Product/Service column on sales forms.
6. You can also turn on price rules if you want to set up flexible pricing for the things you sell.
7. Turn on both Track quantity and price/rate and Track inventory quantity on hand.
8. Select Save and then Done.
