415K? Unless you condense the file to under 350K, you can only convert data to QBO Advanced.

@ecsproull

Are you running QBD 2021 on Win 11?

ecsproull

Error: beanstalk.zlib generation failed

No, it is a Windows 10 Machine. After reading the reviews on QBO we'll be running away from that as fast as we can. Way overpriced for what we need and pop-up ads? Really.

Why did you consider switching to QBO? Your QBD 2021 is good until next year and you can upgrade to a newer version if necessary.

We had a disgruntled bookkeeper walk out and has our Primary Admin locked to him. Then our Merchant Services went inactive and without access to the Primary Admin we can get that going again.   The tool for submitting to change the Primary Admin is a joke. They keep denying it with different reason each time. Why would they approve it when they have a chance of selling more products??? I've tried using the support line but cannot understand what they are saying during three different tries. I called sales and they spoke perfect English (my language) and tried to upsell me to stuff I just don't need. It is way too expensive for this little non-profit social club. The QB community have been great and I appreciate that.

Given the massive jumps in price and high subscription costs it just isn't worth it to us. I'm retired from Microsoft and fully understand their business model and refuse to deal with it. I hate to say it but I helped invent software as service. I do thank you for your speedy replies.

Your former bookkeeper used his own email address, correct? I don't see any solution for that. Intuit will not interfere with your dispute. Consider purchasing a new QB Desktop 2024 license and applying for a new QB Payments account or using a third-party payment processor.

Sales quoted me about $650 per year and we currently have two licenses. I'm guessing he is pushing Premier when all I need is Pro. Or is that the price of one license for Pro. At any rate that is crazy for what we do. One of our license is for our Lumber Room that is open 3 x a day for 30 minutes and sells lumber to a few members. The other license is in the office and I use that 1-2 hours a week. It was an OK deal when they implemented the system but with the explosion in their prices we can't justify it. If it wasn't for the inventory I would recommend doing this in a spreadsheet.

I'm certainly open to cheaper solution and remaining in QB but I'm pretty sure I've exhausted all of the avenues.

BTW he used the company email that I have control of but used his personal phone that is blocking us.

@ecsproull

I'm certainly open to cheaper solution

There is no cheaper solution when talking about inventory management. QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus starts at $650 for a single user license.. You can use the trial version of QB Desktop to access your historical data for good. Then signup for a free cloud based accounting app + an inventory management app to lower your cost.
