I was uploading a CSV from MS Excel. "23-Apple Card Transactions.csv". I was trying to add my Apple Card transitions to my cash account.

Thanks for getting back to us, halfmac. We have ways you can get rid of the error you've encountered while uploading your Apple card transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

First, check the details of your CSV file to ensure it's in the correct format. If everything looks correct, the issue is probably related to the browser, and we can troubleshoot it.

Begin by pulling up your QBSE account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, go to the Profile icon and select Imports to import your transactions.

If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, log out and then log back into your account. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues.

However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers. Then, contact our Customer Care team to further investigate this matter.

Once everything is all set, categorize your downloaded transactions to put them on the correct line of your Schedule C

You can always get back to this thread if you have other concerns about importing bank transactions in QBSE. We in the Community are always ready to help you out.
