Let me help you and share some insights on how to use the QBDT v2011 on your new computer.
Close QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale, and use the Exit option in the File menu. Don't click the X in the upper right corner. If closing the program doesn't release the licenses, restart all workstations to prevent POS from detecting too many open workstations.
- From your Point of Sale server, right-click the Windows Start button, then choose Open Windows Explorer.
- Click Organize, then select Folder and Search Options.
- Go to the View tab, select Show hidden files and folders, then clear the checkbox for Hide protected system operating files.
- Click Yes to the warning, then select OK.
- Navigate to the location: C:\Program Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\XX (where XX is the highest number version you see)
- From your keyboard, press CTRL + A + Delete, then click Yes on the pop-up message. This lets you delete all the contents of the folder at once.
- Open QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale and complete the registration process again.
If the error persists, proceed to Solution 4.

Ensure you prepare the product and the license numbers since QuickBooks will ask you to register the product again. If you'll be asked for a validation code, I'd suggest contacting live support since it's an unsupported version.
