How do I upgrade to Quickbooks Mac Plus 2022

How do I upgrade to Quickbooks Mac Plus 2022? I am a desktop user currently using Quickbooks for Mac 2019 and do not want to use the online version. I have called or used the online chat function 4 times and have yet to find someone who knows who to do this. 

I understand that quickbooks desktop for mac is being replaced by an annual subscription program, and that is what i would like. However no one seems able to sell this to me. 

 

What should I do? I could call back but I've been waiting on hold 20-40 minutes each time to eventually get to someone who has no idea what i'm talking about or says i'm talking to the wrong department.

Another option, you can purchase the license from partners. Contact us in private for assistance if required.

I'm here to share some information on how to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop file.

 

 

Once you downloaded and installed the 2022 version, you're good to upgrade the file. Let me guide you with these steps:

 

  1. Open your new version of QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Select Open or Restore Company if you don't have a company file open. You can also go to the File menu and select Open or Restore Company.
  3. Browse your company file and then Open.
  4. Sign in to your company file as an admin user.
  5. Select Update Now to start the upgrade.

 

Afterward, you'll have to update the new QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
