Do you need to convert data from Quicken to QuickBooks Desktop, or else?

I'll guide you on how to download Quicken to your laptop, Broncojim.

When moving your Quicken data to your laptop, you can either directly convert to QuickBooks Desktop or use the Quicken converter to upgrade your file. If you want to use the converter, use the Quicken Converter to move from the Quicken version that is not a parallel version of QuickBooks. 

On the other hand, if you use the Quicken Converter, ensure you don't have another version installed on your laptop. Once done, follow the steps below:

1. Download the version of the converter tool that matches the year version of your QuickBooks Desktop.
   • Quicken 2024 Converter
   • Quicken 2023 Converter
   • Quicken 2022 Converter
   • Quicken 2021 Converter
   • Quicken 2020 Converter
      
2. Install and move data.
   1. Open the Quicken Converter, then Next.
   2. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement, then Next.
   3. Click Next, then Install.
   4. Choose Launch Quicken Converter, then Finish.
   5. Select I am transferring data from Quicken for Windows, then select Get Started.
   6. Select Open a data file located on this computer, then Select File.
   7. Browse to select your Quicken file (.QDF) file and OK.
   8. Click Convert it!, then select OK.
   9. To save your new Quicken Data File (.QDF) file, select Save, then Exit.
