I just updated to Quickbooks 2022 and I keep getting the following message:

Which QBD year version did you have before upgrading to QBD 2022? I would recommend to avoid using QBD 2022 for the time being.

QuickBooks Desktop update errors can appear any time while downloading the updates or newly upgrading released by Intuit. I'm here to assist you in resolving the error you're experiencing when updating QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

There are no specific reasons for the QuickBooks update error. It can appear because of several reasons. Here we have discussed some of the reasons for the error type:

 

  • Poor internet connection is one of the main reasons for the QuickBooks update error.
  • Restrictive settings of personal firewall or internet security.
  • Multiple instances of QuickBooks on the same computer.
  • Incorrect date and time in the system.

 

An incorrect system date or time on your computer can interfere with the update process.

 

To check the system date and time on the computer:

 

  1. Right-click the system clock on your desktop and select Adjust Date/Time.
  2. Select Change date and time and specify the current date and time.
  3. Select OK twice.
  4. Close and reopen QuickBooks Desktop.
  5. Update of QuickBooks Desktop again.

 

Open a web browser, and visit chase banking, to ensure that the internet connection is proper. If the page or web browser is not working, please contact your internet service provider. And if the chase banking page is opening, but still you can’t update the QuickBooks, follow the procedure in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

  1. First, go to the Help menu, and click on the Internet Connection Setup.
  2. Next, choose the option Use my computer’s Internet connection settings to set a connection while this application reaches the Internet.
  3. Click on the Next option.
  4. And visit the Advanced Connection Settings option.
  5. Look for the Advanced tab, click on the Restore Advanced Settings option.
  6. Click Ok, and then Done.
  7. Again try to update QuickBooks.
