Let's review the QuickBooks Database Server Manager (DBSM) setup, jallen2.
This to make sure that there are no restrictions blocking the DBSM while running on the background.
First, make sure to add all the folders that are holding your company files. Verify the folders are showing on the QuickBooks company files found area. In case you have added Windows access permission, please don't forget to grant QBDataServiceUser29 a full control access.
Next, proceed to the Monitored Drives tab. Select the hard drive that stores your company file. It is also important that we re-run the process of scanning the folders and choosing the drives when we moved the file location.
We may also need to configure windows firewall to allows internet access for QuickBooks.
Then, check the status of the DBSM from the Database Server tab. This should show Running.
